Unveiling of Swami Vivekananda’s Statue in the school premises

In connection with 150th birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, a statue was installed in the premises of the school.

The Panchaloha Statue of Swami Vivekananda was installed at our school in the august presence of parents & students with the presidential address of Justice Shri K.Venkataraman, Former Judge, High Court of Madras. The statue was unveiled by Smt. Thangam Meganathan, Chairman, Rajalakshmi Group of Educational Institutions. Swami Vimurthananda Maharaj of Ramakrishna Mutt, Chennai offered benediction and Shri T.Chakravarthy, Secretary, Vivekananda Educational Society gave felicitation.

A Programme on Swami Vivekananda was presented by the Students of I std.

After the unveiling of the statue flowers were offered to swamiji’s statue. Bhuvana Mandale was sung by the students.

Many other prominent citizens of the locality were present and the function was a grand success
