Bhaskaracharya Innovation and Life Skills Center

Smt. Ramkuwar Devi Forma Vivekananda Vidyalaya is involved in shaping the life of thousands of children for more than forty years, who are now grown as responsible citizens.

Now our school is making effort to contribute to our society for shaping New India, by setting up a “Bhaskaracharya Innovation and Life Skills Center” in our school premises named after our famous ancient mathematician and astronomer of 12th century, “Bhaskara”.

This Innovation center is not a regular science laboratory in schools, which will be following a particular syllabus. Also this is not an R&D center where people make new models and new processes with the use of existing technology.

This is an innovation center which is beyond R&D, it is the place where students are encouraged to put their hands to try out new things under proper guidance.

Here, they are not going to be judged whether pass or fail, but their ability to come up with new ideas & test them & see them work - thereby, making impossible things possible and to go beyond limitations of their prescribed curricula. Even after completion of schooling, students can come back to pursue their research work.

The students of this center would be given opportunity to work in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams from other institutions and to develop multiple perspectives and skills on a problem, thereby creating the condition for innovative design solution.

The mission of this center is to inculcate the curiosity/ interest towards research in fundamental science and the outcome of which may be research publications or patent on their names in upcoming years for which immense knowledge and training will be imparted to them.

To begin with we are providing 5 innovation courses and 3 life skill courses.

Bhaskaracharya Innovation Center – Course Details (Timing 4.30 pm – 6.00 pm)

The courses are open to Vivekananda Educational Society Schools. The students undergoing training will be certified by the particular knowledge partner.

This is open to all the students of Smt. Ramkuwar Devi Fomra Vivekananda Vidyalaya, Chromepet and this requires no registration
